What is a Composite Door?

Perfect for both classic and contemporary homes, composite doors offer a stunning, secure entrance for any home.

With a unique composition of a solid timber core, wrapped in low maintenance plastic, they’re highly durable and weather resistant, and no matter the elements, rain or snow, the face won’t lose its visual quality.

Thanks to our trusted supplier Solidor, we can install some of the finest composite doors on the UK market, that are available in a range of different styles and colour options, making them personal to the homeowner.

Highly Secure

Unlike the majority of composite doors on the market, our product is truly solid. They’re 48mm thick, that’s 10% thicker than most of our competitors and fitted with a Ultion cylinder locking system as standard. Ensuring that your home is safe and secure!

Low Maintenance

Thanks to the plastic skin wrap and uPVC banding material, our doors are low maintenance and will only require an occasional touch up every now and then. All you need to do is wipe them down with a damp cloth and occasionally oil the hinges.

Very Unique

Whether you’re looking for a door to fit your traditional Buckinghamshire home or desire something a little more contemporary, our doors can be tailored to suit your needs. Everything from the design, colour, glazing, even hardware can be customised.

Complete Customisation

As our composite doors come in a wide range of colours and design options, they can be tailor made so that they can blend perfectly with your current windows and doors. There’s even the choice for decorative glazing too!

Composite Doors Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire

Differences Between Composite Door vs uPVC Door

uPVC doors are purely made from a quality plastic with an average thickness of 28mm, whereas composite doors are usually thicker.

Composite doors will usually consist of different materials that are glued together to form the structure, in this case it’s a reinforced timber that has been wrapped in durable plastic and uPVC banding..

Both doors are highly adaptable in regards to design, allowing customers to fully tailor them to their personal needs, and can offer the home with plenty of thermal insulation for the home.
